While we have been honored to safely welcome live audiences back to SLAC, we're also pleased to be able to offer a digital capture of the Utah Premiere of Egress by Melissa Crespo and Sarah Saltwick!
Below, we will do our best to answer some common questions about our digital offerings. If you have additional questions, please contact the box office at or 801-363-7522.
Q: Where can I find the program for this show?
A: Follow this link to view the Egress program. You will also receive a link in your email to view the program when you reserve Egress through SLAC Digital.
Q: How do I watch?
A: All SLAC Digital productions are accessed through SLACDigital.AtHomeArts.Org (not our main website). Any production that you have chosen to stream will be available in your SLAC Digital account. Visit SLACDigital.AtHomeArts.Org and select “SIGN IN” to access your account. From here, you will have access to the current production you’ve reserved.
Your account sign-in information for SLACDigital.AtHomeArts.Org is different than your in-person ticketing with SLAC through Tickets.SaltLakeActingCompany.Org. The first time you use this SLAC Digital streaming platform you'll need to set up an account, even if you have an account at Tickets.SaltLakeActingCompany.Org.
Creating a new account at SLACDigital.AtHomeArts.Org requires only your name, email address, and a password. To stream productions in the future, you can simply log in to this SLAC Digital account on most any device.
Your SLAC Digital confirmation emails do not contain any links to watch the production. To view the productions you've reserved through this platform go to SLACDigital.AtHomeArts.Org, sign in, click 'My Account' and select 'My Screenings'. From here, you’ll be able to see the productions you’ve reserved and stream them when you’re ready. After you begin viewing the production, it will be available to you for 48 hours.
You should be able to stream the film on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. If you have a television that is able to mirror your computer or phone, possibly on your television as well (please also see information about TV apps below).
Q: How do I watch the film on my TV using AppleTV, Roku, or Chromecast?
A: A guide to using Google Chromecast can be found here. A guide to using AppleTV's Airplay can be found here. Additionally, you can access through the @homeArts AppleTV app (search "@homeArts" in your AppleTV app store) or the @homeArts Roku app.
Please note, the production must still be purchased on your computer or mobile device. It can not be purchased directly from the AppleTV or Roku apps.
Q: I don't have Roku or Apple TV and my TV is not compatible with Airplay or Chromecast. Can I still watch the production on my TV?
A: Another option is to use an HDMI cable to connect your computer to your TV. A support article on this topic can be found here.
Q: Do I need to watch the show at a certain time?
A: The show is available on-demand throughout the streaming window (Feb 21st - Mar. 6th) Once you “press play”, a 48-hour viewing window will begin. You can then stop and start the show as much as you’d like. Access to the full production will remain in your account until the end of the 48 hours.
Q: I just reserved the production, how do I watch it?
Q: I made a donation with my screening. How will that appear in my bank account?
A: If you've made a donation or purchase of a show, you will receive an email confirmation with a receipt of your transaction. This transaction will show up on your bank account differently than other SLAC transactions. You can look for "SLFS*SLACVirtual" for the charge to your account.
Q: I paid for a 21-22 season ticket package and I chose to stream Egress instead of see it in person. How do I get access to stream this show?
A: Egress is part of the 21-22 season ticket package. If you chose to stream the show instead of attending in person, you will receive an email on Feb. 21st with your subscriber access code and instructions on how to use it to reserve the show. At checkout please input your subscriber access code in the "coupon code" field and apply it by clicking the arrow. You've already purchased this production, so you will not need to pay for it again—after inputting your subscriber access code you'll be able to complete checkout without paying for anything. If you cannot find your subscriber access code, please contact the box office.
