Rachael Merlot as Emmy

RACHAEL MERLOT (Emmy) is making her SLAC debut in A DOLL’S HOUSE, PART 2 and she couldn’t be more excited! She was last seen performing as Mom and Prosecutor in DeCaf Acting Company’s award-winning production of BANG BANG YOU’RE DEAD at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival of 2019. Other credits include THE WAKE OF JAMEY FOSTER (Collard) and LA FRONTERA/THE BORDER (DSU, Music Team Leader). She is immensely grateful for her theatre instructors, whose training continues to guide her every day. When she isn’t acting, Rachael can be found playing her guitar or reviewing ballet and modern dance technique. Much love and thanks to her family for their support! Keep fighting for what you believe in!

Stacey Jenson* as Nora

STACEY JENSON* (Nora) is thrilled to be working with SLAC for the first time (a childhood dream). Since arriving in SLC in August 2016 (after 15 years away), she has appeared in film: Brigsby Bear, Jewtah, Suburban Bliss, and The Glade of Ardet; as well as commercials for the BBB, the AARP, and Travelwise. She has also been seen onstage: GIDION’S KNOT (Pinnacle Acting Company), ION (The Classical Greek Theatre Festival), IDEATION,WHAT WE’RE UP AGAINST, DINNER, PAGE-TO-STAGE (Wasatch Theatre Company). In addition to acting, Stacey teaches private dialect sessions and has served as Dialect Coach for MARY POPPINS (Sandy Arts Guild), CABARET (SLCC), A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE (The Grand), DRACULA, ECLIPSED and THE RIVALS (University of Utah), and served as Dialect Consultant for ANGELS IN AMERICA (The National Theatre, London). She also directed TO BE FRANK… (SLCC). Stacey holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Utah's Actor Training Program, an MFA in Acting from American Conservatory Theatre, and an MFA with Distinction in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London). Stacey is an Adjunct Professor with the U of U’s Actor Training Program and SLCC’s Theatre Program.

Susanna Florence* (Dr. G/Policewoman) happily makes her SLAC debut with this beautiful play. Locally, she has appeared in many shows at Pioneer Theatre Company including SWEAT, OSLO, TWELFTH NIGHT, KING CHARLES III, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS. Susanna loves working on new plays. She was fortunate to work on the NPSS workshop of FORM OF A GIRL UNKNOWN here at SLAC. She has also participated in several Play-by-Play readings, including SPECULATOR SPIRITS, THE ENVELOPE, A MARCH TALE, HONOR KILLING, and i; at Pioneer Theatre Company. Other Utah credits include KINGS’ MEN with The Sting & Honey Company, THE WEIRD PLAY, PILOT PROGRAM, and KINGDOM with Plan-B Theatre Company, and AS YOU LIKE IT, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, ROMEO AND JULIET, MARY POPPINS, and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. She holds an MFA from the National Theater Conservatory. Special thanks to GK, for manning bedtime for a stretch. And to my four not-so-little ones for putting up with my absence.

Bradley Hatch as Finn

Bradley Hatch (Finn) is overjoyed to be back in his first play SLAC! Bradley has returned to theatre after a close to 10-year hiatus a few years ago and hasn't looked back. You may have seen him in productions around the valley Including the 41st production of SATURDAY'S VOYEUR at here at Salt Lake Acting Company as Kevin in IN THE HEIGHTS and in the YOU BET YOUR BLACK ASS BROADWAY Cabaret with the Good Company Theatre and as Citizen Chauvelin in SCARLET PIMPERNEL at the Hopebox Theatre. Other Credits include Mr. Applegate in DAMN YANKEES also with the Hopebox Theatre, Tommy Albright in BRIGADOON with the Draper Arts Council, and multiple production credits across the valley. @broadhache

Amanda Morris* as Amali

Amanda Morris* (Amali) was born and raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica and moved to Queens, New York in 2008. A May 2019 graduate of Howard University’s B.F.A Acting program; she has performed at venues such as La Mama Experimental Theatre and the Kennedy Center to name a few. She was last seen performing with the Lyric Repertory Company where she played Beneatha Younger in A RAISIN IN THE SUN. Amanda can also be seen starring in the film April Again which is now streaming on Amazon Prime. A published playwright, she believes it is imperative that we tell our stories with integrity and love and not sit back and wait on someone else to do so for us. Amanda likes to remind herself everyday that "One, one cocoa full basket." an old Jamaican saying which means success does not come overnight. @NalaSoul

Aalliyah Ann* (Charise) is so thrilled to be working with SALC in Form of A Girl Unknown. Having just finished the summer run of Saturday's Voyeur, Aalliyah doesn't stop! Having graduated this past spring from Weber State University, having studied Musical Theater. Aalliyah has been in a variety of shows, some such as: SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ, 6 CHARACTER’S IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR, MAKE ME A SONG. Good Company Theatre’s: IN THE HIEGHTS, Heritage Theatre’s: BIG River, and The Grand Theatre’s: FIRST DATE. Additional credits include principal singer in Lagoon’s Jungle Rhythm, Frightmares: Into the Dark, and Smoke & Mirrors. Aalliyah plans on taking her talents and skills out to L.A. Disney, Universal Studios, and various Cruise Lines.

CAMERON ARAGON (Olive) is a California native who is beyond excited to be making her SLAC debut! Recent credits include: Girlfriends Cover in COMPANY at the University of Utah, Wendla in SPRING AWAKENING at Midvale Main Street Theatre, and Rosalia in WEST SIDE STORY at The Grand Theatre. She is currently a senior at the U, earning her BFA in Musical Theatre. To the children who spend/spent hours dancing and singing in your room, this one is for you.

Trayven Call as Dad

Trayven Call (Dad, Platypus, Teacher, Surfer) is excited to make his SLAC debut! Local credits include: 20000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA & CHARLOTTE’S WEB (Utah Children’s Theatre); INNOVATION (Pinnacle Acting Company); THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL (Starving Students Theatre Company); GODSPELL, THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO, & THREE SISTERS (Westminster College). Regional credits include: 1000 MILES & OF AMERICA (Theatre Lab, FL); CABARET, INTO THE WOODS, EASY VIRTUE & SENSE AND SENSIBILITY (Festival Repertory Theatre, FL); and NADIE (Conundrum Stage, FL). Fringe Festival credits include: RESOLVED awarded ‘Miss Congeniality’ (The Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival 2016); and STRANGERS, LOVERS, FAMILY and FRIENDS awarded ‘Outstanding Ensemble’ (San Diego International Fringe Festival). Trayven holds both a BFA, in Theatre Performance, from Westminster College and an MFA, in Acting, from Florida Atlantic University.

Shelby Andersen as Mom

Shelby Andersen is so happy to be back home at SLAC. She has appeared on the SLAC stage in CLICK, CLACK, MOO: COWS THAT TYPE, 4,000 MILES & CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION. Some of her other credits include SPELLING BEE, XANADU, PETER PAN, and GYPSY. Shelby lives in New York City and has been lucky enough to perform in Lindsay Mendez's solo cabaret at 54 Below and in TrevorLIVE with Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan. Shelby is very thankful to be working with Penny Caywood who was the first person to tell her she could go all the way as an actor and has believed in her dreams since she was 8 years old. She is thrilled to share this story and to be home for the holidays!

Joseph Paul Branca*

JOSEPH PAUL BRANCA* (he/him/his)
Joey is so happy to return to his Salt Lake Acting Company roots with this year’s kids show! Off the stage, he also works as SLAC’s Director of Communications, and in any other position Cynthia will let him get his hands on.

His first children’s production at SLAC was Diary of a Worm, a Spider, and a Fly as Ant in 2016, then in Pete the Cat as Jimmy Biddle in 2019, and NOW he’s overjoyed to be playing Pigeon in this year’s show. Other SLAC productions include last season’s SLAC’s Summer Show: Close Encounters in the Beehive as Zeb the Alien, Yoga Play, SLACabaret: Down the Rabbit Hole, Just for Laughs, and the final production of Saturday’s Voyeur. He has worked with many revered companies across the Wasatch Front and internationally, including most recently: Utah Opera, Good Company Theatre, Plan-B Theatre Company, West Valley Arts, Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Hale Center Theater Orem, and Universal Studios Japan among others.

In addition to television and voice acting work, he also appears regularly in film, including starring roles in the feature films Dog Valley, the upcoming One Big Happy Family, and the Emmy Award winning Resistance Movement. He is the recipient of several awards for his work, which he will not brag about further here.
