Joey joined the team at SLAC as Director of Communications in 2022, and has appeared on SLAC’s stage in Diary of a Worm, A Spider, and a Fly, Pete the Cat, Saturday’s Voyeur, SLACabaret: Down the Rabbit Hole, and SLAC's Summer Show: Close Encounters in the Beehive.
Other credits include productions with Universal Studios Japan, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Osaka, Utah Opera, Good Company Theatre, Plan-B Theatre Company, Hale Centre Theatre, Hale Center Theater Orem, West Valley Arts, Desert Star Playhouse, the Greek Theatre Festival, Salt Lake Shakespeare, and as a guest artist with Westminster University. Among other appearances on screen, he starred in the feature films Dog Valley and the Emmy Award Winning Resistance Movement.
He has also worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Hale Center Theater Orem, and as a Senior Strategist for Xyngular Corporation.
