LATOYA CAMERON* is very excited to make her return to the stage after a two-year hiatus. She has been focusing on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion work, along with directing a few productions such as RENT (Ziegfeld Theater Company), Title of Show (The Grand), Town Hall (University of Utah), and Sankofa, This Journey: Go Back and Get It (a collaboration between Utah Black Artists Collective and Salt Lake Acting Company). At SLAC, you might have seen her in Passing Strange, Form of a Girl Unknown, The Cake, and Stupid Fucking Bird, to name a few. Other local theatres: The Clean-Up Project (named the Top Moment of the Utah Enlightenment in 2022 by Les Roka in The Utah Review), Mama, A Version of Events, RUFF!, Different = Amazing (Plan-B Theatre Company), Rent, Rocky Horror, Elf: The Musical, The Music Man (Pioneer Theatre Company) Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, Shakespeare in Love, Mary Poppins, Treasure Island (Utah Shakespeare Festival). Other Theaters: A Christmas Carol (Denver Center of the Performing Arts), Shelter: The Musical (New York Musical Theatre Festival). I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this production. Thank you, Chris, Cassie, SLAC, and this incredible cast & team. Love to my family and Tys.
